When it comes to a deli this is as good as it gets!
Everyone raves about Zingerman's-which I totally agree- but Mudgies is just as good! (and a wine shop as well with a good beer list!)
I don't think you could go wrong with any of their sandwiches and the salads are very good as well. Love the maurice salad and the dressing. Kenna is one of my favorite sandwiches along with the Barrett and Pressley.
There is a a section of sandwiches for Vegetarian & Vegans as well as tuna and salmon sandwich options.
I suggest splurging and ordering the potato salad for the table to split. -

Love this place!! Everything is fresh and mostly Michigan home produce and products. There are so many choices of sandwiches. All made with their special touches with a great portion size. Leaving you to come back for more.
If your in the Corktown area of Detroit. This gem is a must to hit!! They are very fast at handling service to the customer.
They have a verity of craft beers and wine selections. For me they had a very good sour beer Blueberry Maple Pancake. Boy it was amazing!! -

Amazing sandwiches!! Wow! So impressed by this little house in the middle of a residential street. You would really never know it was here, so glad Yelp lead us here.
You can taste the love in the ingredients. I had a Rueben and my fiancé had the Dillard both were top notch. The watermelon froze. -

Mind blowing brisket......The nest I have ever had hands down My husband is going back to Detroit today and I am imploring him to go get one and bring it home to me. 4 of us ( 1 chef and 3 food scientists) ate there- all enjoyed! All fell in love with the brisket. Smokey tangy tender juicy....am drooling just thinking about it.
RUN there now...plus it adorable with a huge creative menu and happy service -

Super cute deli with lots of outdoor patio seating. I visited with a group of six, and service was very friendly and accommodating.
I ordered the turkey trot since I was in the mood for something healthy. It came with roasted turkey breast, sharp cheddar cheese, cranberries, walnuts, and apple in a wrap. Visually, it looked super appetizing, but the flavor was lacking. I think the amount of salad in the wrap overwhelmed the mustard flavor. However, it was still very filling. I would definitely recommend trying the house sangria. It was delicious and very refreshing on a hot humid day!
